Chicken thief
« on: September 26, 2005, 01:43:05 PM »
A couple of weeks ago something was killing my granpas chickens. Not eating them just killing them. So he set a steel trap for it. The next day he had a possum in the trap. He set it again the next night. When he went to check it in the morning the trap although it had been tied down was GONE. Any ideas ? What could make it over a fence with a trap on it's leg? What would get caught in a trap and not make godawful racket?

You said the trap was tied down, Was it untied ? or was part still there like it was chewed threw ?
If it was 100% missing them chances are like was already said someone is doing it. If it was chewed then something else is happening.

Someone took our chickens in the middle of the night, and brought them back (while we were inside) after the police officer came.  Thats a weird one....
Happiness is a warm CETME.

Your deer rifle will never be banned... they will call it a terrorists sniper rifle first.
