What has been your experience with the Hornady XTP/Mag .452 in 240 and 300 grain. I have started working up loads on the 240 in the 1750 fps range with acceptable accuracy in a 454 RB. I've seen comments in other areas that state/suggest that the mag bullet will not open properly on smaller animals, ie. whitetails. The Hornady info on it is nothing short of wonderful though. Your 1st hand experience is welcome and appreciated.
