I have an Encore in 50 and 45 cal. Both shoot extremely accurate. So my choice would be an Encore.  :D

What bullet and powder are you shooting from your .45 barrel RedHawk?  I have the Encore .45 in 1:20 twist and so far only 225 powerbelts/100 gr. pyrodex pellets are the only load accurate to hunt with.

Thanks,

I am using the 195gr. Barnes expanders, over 2 triple7 pellets and a 25 ACP conversion with CCI small rifle primers.  :D

I have heard of that load before, but was hoping to avoid using sabots in the .45 caliber barrel.  I may have to reconsider.  What twist is your barrel and how do the 195 Barnes expanders perform on deer?
