Couple of months ago I bought a Rem 700 LVSF in 22-250 and found out there was a rebate on the gun. I just bought another this weekend, Light Varmit in 7mm-08. I guess its the same gun, sure looks like it, and was wondering if there is a rebate.

Just saw your question so i looked at the Remington web-site. While they show some "promotions" they show nothing that relates to your question.
Might want to check it out though.

I bought a remington 110 in a 22LR,found a rebate slip in it and I sent that and the sales slip all in.About a month later I got the rebate and sales slip back saying it was not any good.I found out why,it was a year to the date old.So in other words,my 22 was NOT new. :cry:

it doesnt mean it is used, if thats what you mean...could have sat around for a year in the back of the store...
