« on: September 28, 2005, 05:11:06 PM »
Ordered it on Sunday so I am expecting it anytime now. I will give you guys a full review on it once I get it installed and tested.  $10 shipped. Let me know if anyone is interested and I will post a link to the spring.

.

This is a link for the Brooks trigger kit.  The instructions for installation
are at the bottom of the page.  Easy to do.  This kit also includes adjusters
for engagement as well as trigger springs.

that kit brought my trigger from 5 lb down to 1 1/2. added a trigger shoe, floated barrel,100 yds one ragged hole.great addition for ten bucks.just play with tubes and springs to get where you like it.

I have a brooks kit installed in my 452 'trainer'.  Trigger pull is < 3lbs.  No take up. Very little overtravel.  Install took about 30 minutes.

From payment to my door was ~4 weeks.  Overall I'm very happy with it.

Last weekend I ordered a Brooks kit. Came Friday ;D I installed it yesterday. The weight of my original trigger was a tolerable 4lbs, but the creep was terrible! Now the creep is mostly gone and the trigger 1 1/2lbs  :)

FYI - Ace hardware sells a spring that will drop right into a 452 trigger. Nice improvement over the stock spring for about $0.60. Look for the #144 spring. Another kit to consider is the Yodave trigger kit. He sells a package with 4 different springs for the trigger as well as shims for the sear pin. The shim tubes fit over the middle pin in the assembly and help take out creep. I installed an adjustable sear from Rimfire Technologies as well as the #144 spring from ACE and love my trigger.
