just got word the alaskan is almost done. My buddy AL is doing the action and the cyl is being moon clipped. The gun will now shoot 454s 45s and scofields with or without clips and eject either way and with a different set of clips will handle all the 45acp based cases but will need clips to eject. Doubt ill use the acps stuff much but it will be nice to know they will work in a pinch. For those who are intersted the .454s use a .22 moon clip and the acps are nothing more then smith 25 clips that I had milled down from .35 to .22. The cly hole spacing on the rugers and the smiths are the same. So theoreticaly its possible to have a 45 colt smith moonclipped to .22 and use acps in it also with the correct clips.
