Not knowing the newer M700's that well, I don't see any problem except that you may or may not have to have some magazine work done to accomadate the .375 RUM.  Lawdog

I don't think that is necessary, since the cartridges are basically the same, except for caliber.  I HAVE heard that the magazine needs to be tweaked if you are rechambering or re-boring to Ultra-Mag with an existing rifle that is chambered in older more conventional calibers.
