I finally got to shoot a few rounds with my new 12FV today.
The set up is Stock .308 12FV with a 24x Sightron scope.
After a fouling shot, I shot a five shot group at 100yards which yielded a 1.40" group. Four shots measured .878" .
This was the first shooting I've done since I broke my wrist and elbow 8 weeks ago. I was somewhat apprehensive about the recoil on my wrist. But I survived and am looking forward to my next session at the bench.
The load was:
RP brass fire-formed
125gr Sierra Spitzer
45.5 gr IMR4320
WLR primers
COL: .005 off the lands.
I'm sure there is a more accurate load combination, but for a light bullet in the 1-10" rifling I suppose it's a good start.
