Handi in .204 and stock refinishing tips needed.
« on: October 02, 2005, 08:19:36 AM »
I've been shooting that .204 I traded my Ruger in on. WOW!! This is one accurate[ rifle ]. No recoil to speak of but it is louder than all heck. I've had a ball shooting gallon waterjugs/ 2 liter pop bottles. No hunting as of yet. After owning and shooting a 20 gauge Pardner for awhile now and now this Handi, I can say I'm hooked on NEF/H-R. There is an area on the butt stock that I would like to sand down some. I would prefer not to have to strip and sand the entire stock. What color stain (or procedure) should I use blend the small sanded area in with the factory finish? Thanks.

Take your stock off...and take it over to Lowes or Home-Depot and have them match it for you...they can match colors very good there..
