I use the Keith ultimate 300 gr. hollow point in my huntsman. Great accuracy and drop dead kills.

Is there anything else?  I was shooting the XTP 300 grains with 90 grains of pyrodex in my knight wolverine.  Great groups but they didn't to crap to the deer I shot.  I shot 3 deer and lost them.  I was going to give up the muzzleloader until someone introduced my to the all lead precision rifle bullets.  I won't shoot anything else now.  I shot a buck last year and he simply fell over and died instead of running forever and ever.  It was awesome.  I now shoot a 240 grain dead center bullet with 80 grains of 777 powder.  Groups are still great but my bullet expands to almost twice its diameter every time.  These things are awesome.

Have only been to the range once with my sidekick.
I tried the 360 gr QT and 300dc .
The 360 with 100grs of fffT7 was a  good load and the 300 with 90 was shooting pretty well also.

Thanks SavageT :D Wow, they are the same people who make the Veriflame that I use for my Sidekick!! Their Conicals are kinda expensive and very similar to the BBC Ball-Et I use in my Sidekick. Theirs is double the price, so I think I will stick to the Ball-Ets. Thank you-Jack.

I'll always pay the extra for the precision rifle bullets.  In my opinion, everyone should.  If you are not willing to do this, I would STRONGLY suggest you stickwith a 100% lead bullet such as a buffalo bullet or similar.  I bought a bunch of the hornady xtp's and sabots for not much money but never found any deer I shot with them.  So, the price of the dead centers is well worth it.  Its very likely you could order the same bullet weight you are shooting now and sight in your new bullets with 5 shots or less.  That would leave you 7 or more which could easily take you through next year too.  The dead centers and QT's are both saboted bullets.  Call them and they'll direct you in the right direction.  Believe me, from experience, its worth the money.  Greg
