Fiber sight for Lyman

Hello to all! Does anyone have a suggestion as to what might work on the front of my Great Plaines Hunter, so if I get a shot at dawn or dusk, I'll have a better chance of seeing it? Williams says the ones they make for the CVA octagon barrel rifles comes close, but they're backordered 6 weeks. I'll appreciate any help, thanx, JD45

Check out the V-peep from rmcsports.com. It has a semi enclosed rear and a front fiber. Works great for these 50+ eyes. I have them on 3 lyman rifles. Think they are about 37 dollars. RMC is a great place to do buisness with. If you have questions, call them, they dont do very well with email.[/img]

Which ever brand you pick see if they make the front in green, and the rear in red. That seems to work better for my tired ol' eyes.

The v peep has the rear solid and the front in red. you can change out the front to green. i cant say enough about the v peep and at 58 i was about to give up hunting with the ml as i could not see the standard sights well enough.

Thanx, Pap......I talked to Carl. Rmc has , as well as the V-Peep setup, a quick attach & remove base, in case I might want to put a Nikon Buckmaster glass on it, too. So I have two options. Thanx again, JD45
