Peculiar problem, solution??
« on: October 06, 2005, 03:30:24 PM »
Where I am bowhunting, the deer have taken to exiting from the woods into the corn....with the wind at their rear.  If  put a tree stand in the woods....how do I approach. If I approach from the field, I get seen.  Think about this....their is no good approach.  Got any ideas?? :D

A good scent suit and a good cover scent.

Can you come it from the side? What about REALLY early before teh deer get close to the field.

Sometimes your best entry is not just the way you go in but when you go in as well.

I don't have a scent suit but I can get pretty scent free. The wood is small enough they allare on a lert when I use a climbing stand.  I am going to try coming from the side, and place a decoy upwind from me and see what happens. Li'l doe bleat can may help.  I will let you know... :D
