Which S&W's are +P rated?
« on: October 07, 2005, 12:24:42 PM »
A friend has a J frame Bodyguard  (stainless steel Mod. 649)  purchased used in the late 80's. It was a police turn in gun.  Is  it OK to use +P's in this gun?

How about K-Frames?  I've read some say that all K-frames are good to go with +P's and others say that the "old" K'frames are not suitable for them.  How do you know?

Any  well informed advise would be appreciated.  Thanks.
