What press do you slug loaders use?  I reload rifle and pistol already, so this will be a small step for me.

Thanks

I bought one of those Lee .690 round ball moulds. It makes a 1 1/16 ounce ball with my alloy. I then use Lee liquid Alox to cover the roundball. I then de-petal a AA12 wad. I use my standard Unique 1-1/8 ounce trap load data. A round ball won't create the pressure a shot colum will because the shot colum will push against the walls of the barrel, where as a roundball can't. These balls seem to shoot better through a full choke than any other for me. The balls are so far under bore diameter that the choke helps direct them on course a little better. If they were say a .70 or .71 a more open choke would probably shoot them better. As it is, a .690 will drop right through my Winchester full choke tube without having to force it.

Loadbook USA has a pamphlet for 12 gauge. They have all sorts of steel, lead, buckshot, and slug data.

I have a lee 1 oz slug mould. I have had mix results with it
I have an older set of RCBS dies for the 12 ga shot shell and use my RCBS rock chucker press. with normal wads and hulls.
With the lee slugs you can use any press that will do a star crimp

I load slugs and punkin balls (.690 ball) with a 600jr. Use the press to deprime, throw charge, seat wad just like any shotshell load. Add projectile, then star crimp LEE slugs or punkin balls with press, or roll crimp regular Foster-type slugs with a crimper in a drill press.

Load data from Hodgdon, Alliant, Accurate. (And probably a lot of other sources. Those are just the ones I use).

You can load sluges on any single stage shot shell press. I will tell you that I have never been able to get accuracy good enough to satisify me with round balls. I have loaded super accurate slugs with foster type slugs made from pure lead, very soft. I have never been able to get good accuracy for slug cast from anything other than pure lead though.
