Cant remember the date the particular hunting date your season opens or closes? Too lazy to break out the regs? I got 'em right here....



Oct. 9: Duck season closes in southern zone; season reopens Oct. 15 through Dec. 4.

Oct. 11: Black bear season closes. See regulations for specific season dates and zones.

Oct. 15-Dec. 8: Pheasant season opens at noon.

Oct. 15-Dec. 8: Ruffed grouse in the eastern zone.

Oct. 15-Nov. 13: Canvasback season opens in the south and north zone.

Oct. 15-Nov. 6: Sharp-tailed grouse by permit.

Oct. 15-Dec. 14: Canada goose hunting season in the Mississippi River sub zone reopens.

Oct. 15-Dec. 7: Bobwhite quail season.

Oct. 15-Dec. 31: Hungarian partridge season.

Oct. 15-Nov. 15: Jackrabbit season opens.

Oct. 15-Feb. 28: Cottontail rabbit opens at noon in southern zone.

Oct. 15-Jan. 31: Raccoon gun and trapping for state residents.

Oct. 15-Feb. 15: Red and gray fox hunting and trapping in the northern zone.

Oct. 15-Feb. 15: Coyote trapping season opens in the northern zone.

Oct. 15-Dec. 31: Hunting and trapping season for bobcat north of Hwy. 64.

Oct. 15-Feb. 28: Muskrat season in the northern zone opens.

Oct. 15-Feb. 28: Mink season in the northern zone opens.

Oct. 15-Nov. 1: Hook-and-line lake sturgeon season on designated waters closes (except Wis./Mich. boundary waters season).

Oct. 24-Nov. 18: Collins zone Canada goose period 3 opens.

Oct. 27-30: Early antlerless-only gun deer hunt in Zone T units only. All hunters (except waterfowl) required to wear blaze orange in Zone T deer management units during this period. Archery season will remain open, but is restricted to the harvest of antlerless deer.

Oct. 29: Youth deer hunt for antlerless deer only. See regulations for requirements.

Oct. 29-Feb. 15: Fox season opens in the southern zone.

Oct. 29-Feb. 15: Coyote trapping season opens in southern zone.

Oct. 29: Mink season opens in central (through Dec. 31) and Winnebago (through March 15) zones.

Oct. 29: Muskrat season opens in south zone (through Feb. 28) and Winnebago zone (through March 15).

Oct. 31-Dec. 16: Horicon zone Canada goose hunting period 4 opens.

Oct. 31: Lake trout season closes on waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan and their tributaries.

Oct. 31: Last day to buy a 2006 sturgeon spearing license.

Nov. 1: Wild ginseng season closes.

Nov. 1: Hook-and-line lake sturgeon season closes on Michigan boundary waters.

Nov. 6: Sharp-tailed grouse season closes.

Nov. 9: Fall turkey hunting season closes.

Nov. 13: Canvasback duck season closes in the north and south zone.

Nov. 17: Early archery deer season closes statewide. Reopens Dec. 2 through Jan. 3.

Nov. 17: Fall crow season closes.

Nov. 18: Horicon zone Canada goose hunting period 3 closes.

Nov. 18: Collins zone Canada goose hunting period 3 closes.

Nov. 19: Regular gun deer season open.

Nov. 22: Duck season closes in the north zone.

Nov. 27: Regular gun deer season closes.

Nov. 28-Dec. 7: Muzzleloader season opens.
