The 300 grain SST's shoot excellent in my Huntsman, but everything shoots great in my Huntsman from 200 grain saboted bullets to 460 grain conicals. I truely haven't found a bullet it don't like.

85 grains of 777 FFg with the 300 grain SST has shot under an inch in mine.

I don't have a huntsman but do own a knight wolverine which, like the huntsman, seems to shoot good groups with anything I feed it.  However, just a word of warning.  I shot 90 grains of pyrodex RS in the past and a 300 grain hornady XTP bullet or a 302 grain remington jacketed hollow point when they used to make them.  I got absolutely incredible groups.  But, I shot 3 deer with these bullets, within 30-40 yds and didn't find any of them.  The advice I received was to go with a 100% lead bullet due to the velocity of the typical muzzleloader.  I switched to a precision rifle 240 grain dead center bullet (www.prbullet.com) with 80 grains of 777 powder.  The results were amazing.  I shot a buck last year and he simply fell over and died.  No tracking, no nothing.  I recovered the bullet and it mushroomed to twice its size and maintained its mass.  The dead center is a polymer tipped bullet and the expansion was nothing less than awesome.  I'm not too familiar with the SST but think it has a plastic/polymer tip so you might get the same results.  Hope this helps someone.  I was literally going to give up muzzleloading after my 1st results.  Now I'm back in the game for good.  Take care, Greg

I have been using 300 XTP's for a year over 100 grains of T7 3F. Excellent deer load.

I'm using a .452 300gr. XTP over 76.5 grains of Triple7 this year and am able to get a 1.5" group at 100 yards. My friend Ditchdigger is shooting the 44 cal. 300gr. XTP over 90 grains of Triple7 with the same results.
