Bow hunting Pigs

How difficult is it to kill a larger pig with an arrow? Ive been told about how tough the armor is and dont know how well the arrow will penetrate it.
I'm not fishing anymore, but I'm not fishing any less...

I have not found hogs hard to kill. A good sharp broadhead will do the trick. Just don't try shoulder shots. Aim for the lung area.  :D

Definitely lung shot ! You probably wont get the arrow coming all the way thru and out like on a deer lung shot and you may not even penetrate the opposite side due to the hog's thick hide and layers of arrow grabbing fat. Give it time to go to ground before blood trailing.

i have shot pretty close to 60 hogs with a bow 11 since June. to date shooting hogs up to 300lbsi i have hit them in the spine shot them through the shoulders angling towards  and away to date ive onlyhad 4 arrows fail to completley penetrat 2 were on small hogs shot at an extreme downwards angle and the arrow hit the dirt and stopped the hogs were less then 25 lbs. not sure what type of bow you are using or what ranges you plan to shoot them   most of my shots are under 20 yards and i am using muzzy 100gr broadheads. to some  the say you need 70 lbs but im shooting at 60 lbs  and have killed them with 55 lbs with complete penetration most importantly is  hitting the vitals
