ever with my Winchester Model 70 today, 270 Winchester.

Load:
140 Gr. Accubond
AA-3100, 55.5 gr

3 shot group= .441

I killed two 8pts last year with this combo but needed to resight the gun in since I changed scopes over the winter.

By far the best load, also found a new load for my Remington 700 Classic in 300 Savage.  150 gr. SST, don't have the data in front of me bout a five shot group was around an inch to 1.25 with Reloader 15.  I'll have to look at the targets and see which loading was the best.  I'll post a follow up tomorrow with the spec's if anyone is interested.

My wife once made the mistake of telling me "all of your guns look alike"...No, I've had this gun for a long time! LOL

Isn't it great to have a rifle and load that shoots those little tiny groups.  People can say what they want but when you can but 3-5 under 1/2" there is no going back.  Now you will be obsessed with getting more of em.

Congrats, oliverstacy!  It sure is sweet to get those kind of results!

I'm with you Longwinters!  Since I primary shoot my Contender that prints tiny little groups, it is tough for me to shoot my other handguns even though they are fairly accurate relatively speaking.

Blessings!
