Read in the classifieds in the Meridian MS newspaper where a guy is selling SB2  .45-70's for $500 and BC's for $700,  so get them before they're gone!!!  

It seems that these two rifles agree with the new primitive weapons regulations for some reason or other.  There is an extreme shortage of them in the area, so why not triple the price and see if someone will bite.

I'll try to get a link to the regulation page as soon as I can.

This reg is worded in a way that may get alot of people in trouble if the warden doesn't see things like the hunter does.  It does not state that breech loading rifles must use black powder.........

As I see it also bans early models of Sharps breechloaders which use paper 'cartridges' :( .

You may be able to petition to have the 1863's allowed since they are more primitive then the 1874 and later versions that they allow.  I'm guessing that they may have just overlooked the old breechloading paper cartridge guns due to their rarity.
