Antelope slaughter and Accubond field test.
« on: October 12, 2005, 11:50:35 PM »
Me,Dad and my uncle went out yesterday and filled seven doe antelope tags on our anual antelope hunt/mule deer scouting trip.Me and my Father also used the trip as a field test for long range accubond performance, they worked very well,I took one at 430 yards that broke both front shoulders and passed through,we didnt recover any bullets they all penetrated very well, the muledeer outlook on our place is great,we saw 20-25 mature bucks and 4 big ole boys, cant wat till the rut to see what crawls down from the back country,we dont even hunt there till the third week of the season because its really hard to pass up those local bucks and it really burns to go out a couple weeks later and see the big guys walking around the same ground.
If it aint fair chase its FOUL,and illegal in my state!
