I noticed that Marlin has the 1894CL in 32-20 on their website and I'm wondering if anyone has seen one in the flesh?

I not only have seen one but I purchased the first onr my local gunshop could find in the nation. It is all I ever hoped or dreamed it could be. The trigger breaks @ 3.5 pounds right out of the box. The gun absolutely loves 100gr Hornady XTPs AND 118gr Magnus brand cast bullets. Both of those bullets will shoot very tight cloverleaf groups at 50 yards. The XTPs shoot just over 1 inch at 100 yards.

What is the load data, that you are using? We have one but didn't shoot it yet. They are lovely little rifles.

I saw one in a local shop, but at nearly $600, my eyes refused to focus on it very clearly. I had one of the older ones back in the 90's and it cost me a lot less than that. It was a fun gun, but I never could get it to shoot the way I thought it should, so it went to a new home.

I have one from the 1990's.  Looks like this one is unchanged.  Mine is a fun gun.  Light, well balanced, and quick handling.  It is tack-driver accurate with jacketed bullets and does well enough with lead (BTW, I replaced the rear sight with a Williams peepsight since I could not see the stock sight very well).  I "up-load" it over factory and it seems to do better when pushed harder than the factory loads.
