The link worked for me. My favorite was the Scare Crow asking the Wizard the way back home to Kansas. (Ar-kansas)...Or, what was it that the Scare Crow asked the Wizard for?? Anyway, John made it home...

powding,

This is fantastic, no one has captured an image of the elusive wooly headed gabby napper in years. However, this could be the even rarer broad-bellied stogie sucker. If you by any chance were able to get a recording of it's loud and somewhat abrasive call we could be certain of the species of this magnificent specimen.

I'm glad John wasn't offended by my reference to him and the Scare Crow looking for a brain.  John and I are good friends and go along ways back. He and I went to Penn State togeather!... (or was it the State Pen)??

GTS,

I can obtain the rare call of the broad-bellied stogie sucker, and judging from the blue belly it was in the rut, I hear when they are in the rut they will clean out all the single malt scotch in entire area, then win the match ......strange behavior. I hear tell they may site one in GA at the state match, hopefully it will be out of the rut

Have you gott'en any pic's of the AK version, I do hear that it has red hair and is seen mostly with a paint can or transit.

You got to believe that anyone that dresses as badly as I do wouldn't know when he shoud be offended.....Scarecrow is one of the nicer things that I've been called. :-D

Planning on shooting the Ga state meet and haven't yet decided on wardrobe.  Shorts, sweats, or maybe go all out and wear jeans....Didn't go to Penn state,  too far north for a true son of the south, nearly froze to death in KY at the state match....so it must have been the other institution of higher learning.. The nearly intolerable cold is what must have drove Dawg into hibernation (see pic above)  Way to early in the day for him to be passed out........And, by the way, rut or not, your single malt scotch IS NOT safe....

G'Day All
I was wondering how many shooters where at the KY state championships?  I noticed that you only had 3 sets of targets and was wondering how many shooters and if it was a 80 shot match as we have a State title next year in Tasmania to run and only have 2 sets of targets.

Believe 26, but the Greers can confirm the exact number.  They did a great job and all went very efficiently

Wonder if there is any significance to the fact this specimen is warming himself next to a gas heater that is out of gas and has a can of Raid sitting on top.  Can single malt make one imagine seeing flying critters as it is warming the body?  Hummmmm....

See y'all in Brunswick this weekend.

Gator64 aka Mississippi Yard Dawg,

I think you will find that is a can of wasp spray, I have heard when heated and sniffed will cause vision of grandure. That's my story and I'm drinking to it....hic.....see the pretty pink ram.......in the horn......no dinger.....no rump......give me that thing, send a sober boy to do a drunks work. See ya in Buns to a wick
