A "Newbie" Found a home
« on: October 13, 2005, 07:43:59 PM »
Hello to Graybeard, and all of the moderators. :D
Found this BB on the NAHC website. I'm a Life Member.
Some of these forums are really interesting. And many sure have a good sense of humor. :-D
I shoot rifle,handgun and shotgun.Reload for 454 Casull,45 ACP,45 Colt,
44 magnum, and 45-70. Shotgun ? Tain't tried that yet.
Found lots of good info in several forums.
Hoping one of these days, I can escape Kaleefornia  , for good.
Got one problem....got to find the land. Got about 11 years to retire.
Idaho  /Nevada  /Missouri  ,would be better than here.
Need more freedom than this so-called "security  ".I provide my own security, thank you.
I'd rather be around my kind of people:hunting/fishing...the real, down to earth people.
If ya don't mind,I'll be readin' more.
Thanks for everything.

Welcome to the best home on the net. Glad ya found us.  Pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable 'cause sometimes it takes a while to catchup on all the ideas being bandied about here.

Hi,
Thank you.
Yes, it does seem like this GBO, is probably the best, as you said.
Goes from one end to the other !
Been getting a lot on the 45-70.Have loaded for the 30-06.
Course, been reloading for about 35 years. I still don't know it all.

When I was yore age I had been retired for four years already. Got tired of that working stuff so I jist gave it up and headed home. Kinda like being retired, after ten years of it, I've decided it fits me kinda well.

Welcome aboard, I too am a NAHC Life Member. Joined as a Charter Member and changed to Life when the club was in its infancy. Sure made a lot of promises to members back then, few of which have been kept. Reckon that's the way of things these days tho. They sure have gotten big.

We try to offer a little of every thing here for the outdoorsman. We keep it clean and trouble makers don't last long at all. It's a family atmosphere where all members of a Christian family can feel comfortable.

Hi Graybeard,
Thank you.
Thank YOU for a very interesting forum.
Reading last night about one body that you warned repeatedly.
Then you banned him. Good for you.And us.
Gonna put out a call for 2 guys I met in June, at the Virginia City
Cemetary. They were from Idaho. Sure were very nice.Almost like chatting with old friends. Invited us for a visit.
Along with hunting and goldpanning. Told them to stay in touch. They have both e-mail addys of mine.
Both are electricians. One is a master electrician. And think, 1/4 Apache.
Waiting for November for vacation. Would rather go to Idaho, than
Tombstone,AZ. Prefer woods to desert.
The call goes out.
Later.
