I got together today with De41mag and JPH45. We had a fine time with our guns even though De41mag left his handies at home....he even left his bullets for his 7mm08 mod700 at home. I can't say anything about him leaving his bullets at home because I wanted to see if my 22 hornet had improved and I had remembered the bullets but brought the wrong gun...my 30-30. We did have plenty to shoot...jph45's 357 max. shines with his home rolled rounds. His 38-55 is no slouch either...I at least had my 45-70 classic and tried some different loads. I also had my 22250 Remington 700...my pride and joy. De41Mag tried out a 41 cal...which is a dream to shoot. In case anyone is wondering why De41mag has been off the forum....his computer is down. We did have a great time meeting others and swapping stories. jph45 is trying to get me in trouble....he gave me two .457 Lee bullet molds....he doesn't think I have enough hobbies. I haven't had this much fun since last weekend when my baby girl got married.....come to think of it...this has been two weekends in a row that I haven't been hunting.

boy i wish i lived closer, what i would give to finally meet JPH45 and see you and dennis again heck you could even throw in jimmy i just miss seeing all of you. besides i think dennis's AR had a crush on me and as did your 204 paul.

Mitchell, you ain't missin' too much; I"m a grumpy, opinionated 'ol f##t who can't seem to keep his mouth shut when it would be better too, and I'm wrong at least 40% of time too boot. But we did have a good time yesterday, good enough that we've agreed to try it again in the near future. Perhaps you could escape for a long weekend and come hang out with us. But be warned, it is obvious that the inmates are running the asylum, and come the full moon............. well, we best not discuss that in public :wink:

Mitch not to sure where you are at but it is a pretty straight shot down I-65. I had tried to get Jimmy to show up but he is a busy man, at least he did show for the wedding with Nancy his wife.
Fred it would be great if you could join the Lunies or anyone else who could come out and howl at the moon.

Most of the time these get togethers pop up at the last minute with no planning but if we have another witch we are wanting to do if I have time I will post something.

Man; I'm off line for a couple of months and this is how Paul treats me. :shock:
No chance to defend myself or anything. What a shooting buddy. :wink:
I'll put my two cents in worth. One thing about Paul, he needs only single shots, cause when he shot My AR-15, it was all spray and pray.
But all things aside, we have a really great time together.
And I'm sure glad to be back with family.

This computer buying is worse than buying a car. You want one thing, they try to sell you another. :x

If you have a full mag. use it. I would go broke with a AR-15.
