I DO NOT AND WILL NOT condone racism in any form,

That being said why did the gangs of Toledo Ohio feel that they needed to riot and destroy personal property just to prove that they did not share the same point of view as another gang -the american nazi party .

Bloods , Crips or Neo nazis i have no use for any of them BUT this AMERICA were even they have the right to there own point of view.

But why did they have to riot , burn and loot. There was no reason for it .

The veneer of civilization is very thin in our major cities. Almost any excuse or opportunity is an excuse to loot and riot.  I think looters should be severely dealt with by the police , and they should televise it.  The party atmosphere of many looters show the real reason for the looting isn't some 'injustice', but just an opportunity.

From what I see on the news the neo-nazis were going to march to protest about "black crime". Looks like they made their point without having to march.

I can understand their anger...but the folks in that neighborhood gave the Nazis a big win...now the Nazis can say " see, we told you so !".
   I cannot make any connection between anger at nazis and looting and burning homes and businesses that had nothing to do with the Nazis...

   ShadowMover is right...the veneer is indeed wearing thin, and It reinforces my strong backing of the 2nd amendment...

Just an update , My brother- in- law is the news director for clear channel radio in NW Ohio .

He told me that the Toledo police ask all of the news media that had film of the riot to please give them copys so they could try to ID those involved .

From what he told me , they want to put a lot of butts in jail ASAP to get the point across that this will not be tolerated .

I just hope that they do .
