Just picked up today a blackhawk 6 1/2". Looking for a holster that is a low slung western type. The type that puts the but of the gun at hand heigth when the arm is at full extension to your side. Any suggestions, nothing fancy.

I got mine from Cabela's. Darn nice looking and very reasonably priced too.

Did you get a 7.5 or did they have a 6.5? I also need one. By the way you'll love that gun, mine has been uncommonly pleasing.

Timothy I got the 6 1/2. I have only been able to shoot at the local indoor range, but feels good. Hope to get out to the farm this weekend to let it spread it's wings at a longer distance. Thanks jro45, it is a nice holster, it feels good and hangs at just the right heigth.
