I have a Browning A-5 20 gauge shotgun that I want to put a scope on but don't want to drill and tap. I found a mount for my Browning BPS 12 gauge, but they don't have them for the A-5 20. I would be very thankful for any tips on this. - Gordy.

try it with the bead, may be suprised. my dad's whacks clays on the birm 70 yards out.

Thanks sxb, mine has rifled sights, but you are right. I had a Model 37 get stolen, it had a bead. You would not want me shooting at you at 150 yards. Have a great weekend. - Gordo.

Look for a B-Square scope mount. I have one on my 12 gauge and I like it. It mounts on the gun by removing the 2 trigger screws, installing the mount, and using the 2 screws supplied with the mount.
There will be appx 1/2 inch space between the top of the reciever and the bottom of the mount. I use a cheek pad to raise my line of sight and don't have any problems.
I paid $40.00 for mine, IIRC.
