I was shooting my bow tonight and the cam split. This caused the cables to fly off and me almost getting hurt. Thank the Lord I am fine. The bow is totaled. It is an older Bear Yukon. I bought it for $20 a year ago. It has the plastic cams. I am not even going to try to find a replacement.

I am going hunting for the Whitetail Rut in Ohio in two weeks. I need a Bow and Fast. I have some money to spend, so give me some ideas!

If you are going to Ohio in two weeks, you need another bow NOW! Start checking the local adds if you want to do something cheap and used, but myself, I would head for the local pro shop and get into a new basic bow and get it set up to fit. You can probably use your current arrows, sight, rest, quiver and whatever else. The most important thing is to get up and running in the next day or two.

I am going to the Sportsmans warehouse to buy one. Probably a PSE Nova or something like that. They give a Military discount so the Tax should be covered. I will take all of the stuff off of the old bow and transfer it to the new one.

UPDATE!
I mailed the Bow back to Bear to have it looked at. If they can fix it a friend want's to buy it from me. Since it broke I bought a shiny new BowTech TomKat. I also bought a Whisker Biscuit. Shoots great with that setup. 10 days untill the big hunt.....
