Hello and thanks for the info. My 25 ACP breech plug just arrvied for my Omega, and I will be heading out to the range Saturday morning to she how she shoots. My questions is how tight are you guys seating this plug when installing it? Any favorite plug grease you are using? Thanks for the info.

I also use the 25 ACP conversion in my Omega. I only tighten my breechplugs finger tight. I have used both Super Lube synthetic grease (my favorite) and permatex anti-seize (works great but messy). Really any hi-temp. grease will work as well as teflon tape. You are just trying to keep any powder residue from getting into the threads and seizing them tight. I got in a habit years ago of breaking my breechplug loose every 4-5 shots when at the range just to make sure it does'nt stick. Good luck with your 25 ACP conversion I'm sure you will like it. If the shells make your Omega hard to close, trim or file a little off the shell to shorten them up.

I also just finger tight my breech plugs. I use shooters choice high temp grease on the breech plugs. Never had a breech plug that was hard to remove. I love my 25 ACP breech plug.

With both the T/C and the 25 ACP plug in my Encore I use a coating of T/C Gorilla Grease and just snug the plug up, and never had a plug freeze up.

This is when shooting American Pioneer or 777.
