The Glock grips have changed throughout the years.  I got my model 23 last year and the grip has a very good gripping surface.  I have noticed that some of the older ones have a smooth grip.

This was a new glock and had a pebble texture grip. It is still slick feeling.

Skateboard tape or decal grips, if the stock grip doesn't suit you. Mine is fine like it is.

Hogue makes a grip sleeve that you may be interested in...I believe that it is made to work with the older model Glock without finger grooves but maybe it will work with your newer model too.

An extreme fix... but I thought it was pretty cool.  The guy who did this is a very patient man.

My 3rd gen. mdl 17 is fine like it is. My mdl 21 has the finger grooves removed and stippled with a soldering iron. I don't like any of the slip-on grips/decal grips.

Try a piece of bicycle inner tube stretched over the grip. In my opinion it works as well as the store bought ones and is much cheaper.

The Glock grip does feel a little slick but they actually work fine as is. Especially the finger groove models. I have shot matches in the blazing sun with sweaty hands and have never felt as if the pistol was slipping.

The later models have different grips on them. But like what was said the

Hogue grips are pretty good for replacing the older style grips. :D
