Marlin ssv Heavy barrel = TAC DRIVER!!
« on: October 24, 2005, 03:16:47 PM »
Just thought I would write a post on my favorite rifle!! The marlin 883 ssv heavy barrel. It's been tricked out with a richards micofit stock, basix trigger, and 6x24 scope. I get clover leaf groups @ 150yds and have put close to a thousand rounds through it all ready and it is a tack driver!!
My marlin likes the 50 grain federal, cci TNT 30 grain, and winchester supremes the best! I hunt with the 50 grainers and can't comment enough about this firearm! It's great when you find rifle that really shoots!!

The coyote was taken at 15 yds. and i was using an 882ssv 22mag.  with Win Supreme 34gr. hollowpoints.  The rifle carries a 3-9x40 scope and a rifle basix trigger set around 2lbs.
