What I like about it; it has a diesel, it's an extended cab, easy to clean interior, and looks like it's solid although I admit I don't know much about jeeps. Now here's the big thing I don't like about it, the removable windshield and what sounds like a moveable bed. Now if the cab was one piece I'd like one alot.

  1. Windshield is not removable but rather foldable like other real Jeeps (Cherokees, Libertys, etc don't fall into this category).  Just how many do you see with them actually folded though?  I also believe the bed is expandable into the rear seating area muchlike a few other SUV's have done.  Doesn't meean you have to use it.  Also a really good bet it'll be avaailable in at least 2 gas engine models as well.  Had my eye on this for a while now and It looks like an '07 model yr model.  Same time the new Wranglers get thier makeover.  I'm next in line to get a vehicle as wife just got her new one last yr so '07 willbe just about right.

BlkHawk73 thanks for correcting me on the windshield. I guess my worry about the movable bed and such is that after a few years of using the vehicle, even if one doesn't move the bed, is that it will start to loosen up. But hopefully I'm wrong on this and it will hold up seeing as I like the Gladiator otherwise.

BlkHawk73,

The winshields are NOT foldable on the cherokees and Liberty's.  Only the CJ's, YJ's and TJ's have foldable winshields.
