anybody know how wide,
and
thick, to make the wood ? for
1/4 scale carrage wheels,
im buying/rolling,
some 9-1/2 inch steel this weekend to make the rims,
hub diam would be helpfull also,

What style and size of artillery are you working with. Proper scale wheels can be done but may be pretty tough if you need them to be EXACT. I'm just starting baby steps toward building scale field carriage wheels for a Napoleon. I'm planning some long frustrating hours for the learning curve on this project, and less than perfect results. As long as it doesn't fall apart on the first boom I'll be happy.
