To many Mondays
« on: October 26, 2005, 02:41:20 PM »
October 26 is my third Monday this week.
Monday the 24th I have 2 blowouts on the same axle and lose a vehicle off the wheel lift. Thank God is was junk headed for the salvage yard.
Monday the 25th a drunk slams into the back of my wrecker while it was parked. Destroyed the wheel lift, ripped the side off the bed, broke some hydraulic lines, killed a brand new tire , $100.00 worth of LED chicken lights and crushed both tool boxes. Then sped off on 3 wheels leaving a trail of rubber and car parts all the way to his house. Where the police found him passed out in bed. No arrest, No drivers license, No insurance.
My only consolation is with all the blood and damage this guy got to be in some serious pain this morning.
Monday 26th started out great then the computer on wrecker number 2 took a crap and I'm 10-7 all day.
I get home I'm relaxing on the porch when a cat comes strolling up in my yard so I grab my sling shot take good aim let it fly. I missed the cat but there was this strange sound. I look up in time to watch the shattered window in my Ram Charger fall out. The cat didn't move it just sat there looking at me .....Laughing at me. If it could  talk it would have been talking smack I'm sure.
I'd go hide under the bed but I'd probably get stuck and the wife would have to call the Fire dept to get me out.  :?

I love this saying, and I have used it many times to get through a tough week:

What doesn't kill us, just makes us stronger!  And sometimes wiser also.  *smiles*

It just goes to show how true my operating paradigm really is.  What's that you ask?  Life's a bitch and then you die.
