Anyone make a hooded front sight
« on: October 27, 2005, 06:17:54 PM »
Does anyone know if anyone makes a hooded front sight out there?  I want to mate a rear peep sight with a front hooded sight.

Thanks

I don't have a link, but you could look into the Bomar sights used by the IHMSA shooters. . .an alternative is to remove the existing front site, and have a gunsmith cut a dovetail and use an Anschutz or Lyman front site with the interchangeable pins. . .

Go to http://www.midwayusa.com/, they should have some ideas for you.

You could also try www.brownells.com.

Will probably depend on taper of barrel, if you can get a low enough front to go with the peep sight.
