Dano; I'm looking forward to you coming back down for awhile,I'm hoping to find some more hogs when Muzzleloading gets over with. That muley's rack looks alot like a whitetails in the pictures. Digger

Taylor, I don't know if this is you first, but it sure is a nice Deer! I can't
tell if the tine by your cheast has a fork, but your fine animal at this
angle look's like a Mule Deer with a Whitetail rack, which is even more
special!

Good shooting Taylor!! Nice buck!!! A lot of 3 point mulie and blacktail racks look like whitetail racks, it's real common to see em that way with no forks. Here's another example of one..

Quicktdoo

Must be a regional thing, as the Mule Deer we see & shoot in NE Wyoming
don't have racks like that regardless of size. But, we also see regional differences in Whitetail racks too. Another thing about the rack I saw was the color. Mule Deer where we hunt have darker racks, Taylor's was
colored more like alot of Whitetail we take, but I seen color vary alot with
some Whitetails as well so I imagine it can with Mule Deer.

Yeah, that tends to happen when you poke a .50 caliber hole in them

Digger, I went once while I was home....and someone was sitting in my milo field :x

I probably won't have an opportunity to go again this year.  But, I will be home to do some coyote hunting, probably in January.
You haven't hunted......Until you've hunted the hunters
