That is the problem with that part of the state. It seems like it is being invaded my yuppie pukes. All they do is eat up good hunting land as well as raising the property taxes. My only fear is that people in Concord will move north and then put you in the same situation. One good thing is that the cold weather keeps a lot at bay. Good luck.

Bigbore

My Bro-In-Law lives in Danbury, we call it "Dingleberry"

He's been up there for about 15 years and sez it's just about TWICE as populated as it was when he got there.

I figger maybe 5 to 10 years and it will be time to go further North to get away from it, again.

But then, I dunno.  Way I figure it, this country is gettin ready to take a dive.  The hour of the nitwit is truly at hand.  We have the anti gun community up our collectives asses, and the latest in the state of NH is another $1 a pack TAX on butts which they claim will net $132 million for "education".  Oh, and they also CLAIM that 66% of the populace is in favor of it. ?????  I think somebody is full of you know what

It's getting just about comical.  We got the neighboring state of Taxachussests doing everything possible to get OUT of the state that Romney has going to the dogs.  Everybody hates his guts, odd, nobody owns up to voting for the fool, yet he is elected Gov???

They move up here, DEMAND more cops, more firemaen, more, more, more.....   Seems they want to create what they just left in Mass right up here in NH.   They buy up fancy homes to the tune of $250,000 and up, and as soon as they get the tax bill the place is back up for sale.  Of course they want to make a quick $50k PROFIT on the place on the way back to Mass. I don't get it.

The Lawyers make out, the realators make out, and the finance outfits make a killin.  Meanwhile, anything that was affordable is priced outside of reality and beyond the reach of the average working man.

In my lifetime I heard Nika Kruchev say the words that he would burry us.  He was wrong.  Our own American Businessmen will be the ones who burry us.  They just keep sending our jobs to 3rd world nations that work for $.40 cents an hour, and what little is left, they hire the 3rd world immigrants for half of what they pay American labor.  Course we won't mention the fact that they aren't worth 1/10th of what an American does, but they find out in short order.

It has been said that my politics are to the right of Atila The Hun, and I concur with that.  This goings on in this country just isn't right IMO.

Only way I can see to put a stop to it is to refrain from buying stuff made anyplace but in the USA.  For sure our good Ole Government isn't going to put a stop to it, they're encouraging it!

We haven't even ruined Sadam Insanes day yet, and already, we have BIG plans, with American taxpayers dollars of course, to REBUILD the danged place!  Why we just gotta make em a free people so they can pay their taxes.  At $.40 cents an hour, ain't gonna be much taxes

I know for fact we have homeless and hungry people on American soil, I think we should look in our own back yard before attempting to save the rest of the world.  Yah, I know, there's no money in that......

I agree with you 101%. The issue with Mitt Romney is that he inherited a state with a massive deficit as well as other problems. He is given the task of cleaning up the mess. I'll be honest, I did vote for him because I didn't like the Democratic candidate. This state is anti-gun enough. From what I read he isn't anti-gun . I will admit he is talking about eliminating the position held by William Bulger, the brother of infamous mobster Whitey Bulger reputed to be hiding in Ireland. His job and assistants cost the state 200 million a year. Getting rid of that is the first step. That is the problem with this state. Too many patronage positions. Many people from all over the country wonder why someone like Ted Kennedy remains in position. The answer is money and patronage jobs. That is the problem. All of this costs the taxpayer .

I hear a lot of ninnies complain of the cold and snow. Maybe where you're moving will keep them away. I hate to say it but they are flocking South.

You say you are closer to some wild boar. I take it that is the preserve in Fairlee , Vt. I know that in the past, some boar escaped from Corbin park but I talked with a NH biologist and he stated that the fences are kept up pretty well. So the chance of hunting escapees aren't all that great.
