sighting in my bow

Can anyone tell me how far you have to be to sight in a bow.Right now its lined up for 10 yards where i practice  in my basement.Thanks in advance.

Initially I sight at 10 yards with my 20 yards pin to get poi (point of impact) close and then go back to sight in 20 yard pin, 30 yard pin and 40 yard pin.

I shoot at different distances using the wrong pins also to see where the poi is if I was to get my judging distances incorrect whilst hunting.
