Don't think I need a sight calculator to tell me what front sight I need when the WGRS sight with the aperture all the way to the top using the standard .584" tall front sight put 405gr loads 6" low at 50yds!!! Bernie had a similar problem, tweren't just mine.
When referring to the BC, period correct is pretty much a moot point from a hunting point of view, having sights that aquire quickly and naturally isn't.....for me. :wink: The Smith and the MVA sight are an incongruous combination, if you ask me, specially for old eyes, the peep should be close to the eye, the notched open sight needs to be on the barrel. Somewhere in the middle might work on a different rifle, though.
