2007 Air Rifle Silhouette Championship
« on: November 02, 2005, 05:01:12 AM »
I have received an email from Don Strickland, NRA Silhouette Rules Committee member, that Winnsboro Gun Club HAS been approved to host the 2007 NRA Air Rifle Silhouette Championship!

This is a direct result of the hard work of the shooters from Texas running the  match and the great turn-out for the first Louisiana Air Rifle Silhouette Championship.

Winnsboro Gun Club will definitely be hosting our second annual Air Rifle Silhouette Championship before the 2006 Southern Nationals.  We promise a bigger and better Air Rifle match for 2006!  Come and prepare for the 2007 Nationals!

Are we expected to show up in our Horse Drawn Buggies since we had to go back to springers in sporter? Like wiping before you poop..it just don't make any sense! Ha-ha!

Still never heard a logical, or heck ANY response, to the question poised by a member here in why is it that PCP are allowed in Target class to compete against the single stroke target rifles but they were "Out Lawed" in Springer...errrrr I mean Sporter class....LOL

Congratulations David and well done!  Looking forward to being there in 07!  Might even make it next year.

Smallbore and Air Silhouette is going to be off to a good start here in the Northeast next year (CT, NY).  We are working on 3 clubs to host matches offering both smallbore as well as air rifle.

Congrats again and a big thanks to the NRA for giving you the green light!

Good One, David,

I'll see if I can get the kids to pay for my next trip !

I hope everyone appreciates all the hard work you put into supporting Silhouette shooting at Winnsboro.

Lets hope that you can get enough support to host the NRA rimfire Nationals again, also.

cheers,
Buds on me !
