Can You Help me ID a rifle I own?
« on: March 04, 2003, 08:06:03 AM »
I was given a Austrian NATO rifle.  It is a bolt action and has the markings M12 .308 on the end of the barrel.  I know that this info is not very good, but any Info on the rifle is greatly appretiated.

Good Old.....,
Come on now, there has got to be a little more information we can work with.
1) Length of barrel along with all information stamped on barrel and receiver.
2) You say Bolt-Action.......Is there a magazine, and detachable?
3) Describe stock(s):  one piece, two piece, style of forearm, butt stock (does it have pistol grip), monte carlo raised comb?
4) Is it Military or Commercial?
5) Sights, describe front and rear types.
6)Kind of finish on metal(blued, polished or rough green Parkerized military finish)
savageT........Have you hugged a '99 lately?
