so martin turn white in the winter like weasel?

me and a friend have been argueing about wether or not pine martin turn white in the winter, i say they dont but he says they do. so do they or dont they?

Marten,do not turn white in the winter--it is only the weasel that does that.

Having caught hundreds of marten--in the winter here in Maine--I can tell you THEY DO NOT TURN WHITE...
