Well, 1st post, but I want to thank everyone for all the valuable info I have already received, lots of good stuff here. I have recently purchased a Kimber Varmint 22-250, I picked this one over the Savage 14FVSS due to the fit and finish. I'm hoping I made the right decision, I know the Savages shoot very well. I do not like the Kimber scope base set up at all and my question is, is there anything else available. Also, if you have this particular rifle or know anything about it, what kind of ammo does it like (factory).
