Trip to the range

I just came back from the range. I took the 223 superlight, the 7x64 Brenneke, and the 30-40 Kraig. All three are now ready for whitetail season. It comes in in two weeks. I will probably hunt first with the 7x64 but I have developed a fondness for the 30-40. It is shooting good and carries a pretty good bang...

I know what you mean about the 30/40 , I just love mine and if you handload it gets even better  :D

I have been using Winchester factory loads. It is doing OK. Now I want to see what damage it will do to mister whitetail....
