Questor Jr., my 13 year old son, took his first deer yesterday. At about 10:30am a few does came toward the blind single-file and he took the lead doe. He's a happy kid.
He used his 20 gauge Mossberg youth gun. Distance was 35 yards.
The doe was instantly incapacitated and no tracking or follow-up was necessary.
He done good.
