My family has owned four Anschutz, two CZ 452 Americans(highly gunsmithed), and one Savage for Smallbore Silhouette.  We are using Anschutz 1712FWTs at present.  All of these rifles have had some negative points for us.    I think the last time we saw Troy Lawton he had a Brown Precision Action in a Nesika Bay stock.  Has anyone had any experience with the Brown Precision .22 Rimfire rifles?

I wouldn't presume to speak for Troy -- and he follows this board from time to time and could better answer your question anyway -- but the stock that seems to be the most popular for Hunter rifles at this time is Mark Pharr's.

Mark basically just corrected what were perceived by many as a few minor faults in the Nesika. He has two slightly different versions available: a 'standard' style and a 'split finger hold' style.

IMO the progression has been Brown to Nesika to Pharr...and most poeple that I talk with seem to think that, within the current rules, Mark's stock will be hard to improve upon.

Mark's in Round Rock, TX and his ph is: 512 246 7563

Mr. George, my Spring Break is March 13 throught March 17, 2006.  My Dad has annual leave already scheduled for that week.  This is great!  Thanks for putting on this match.  My Dad always tries to get me to go shoot the Wildcat Prone Match in Phoenix spring break week but I like S.B. Silhouette better.  Please pm me or somehow let me know when you finalize the specifics of the match so that we can get our hotel or camping reservations.  We think this is a major step for S.B. Silhouette in the Southeast.  It fills a gap for people who cannot travel to the Sunshine Classic because of commitments with School.

Thanks!
