  Here are two of mine:

   1) A first year of production 10/22 . I have the original walnut stock put away..the red & silver one is a Butler creek that I painted, shown with one of my hand-forged-top  shooting sticks.

 2) One of my several NEF rimfire setups..this one .17 HMR.. (headshot at 125 yds)

Also shown, unwilling participants..NY State fat woodchucks..LOL

Although I have several .22 rifles and am building up another 10/22 the one that is special is a Remington Mod. 12 that I learned to shoot with. My Dad started me out shooting with this rifle 64 years ago when I was 6 years old. It will go to my daughter when it is time.

That is the way it should be.  I have my Father's 1958 vintage Nylon 66 I learned on, and it will go to my youngest son.  He will treasurer it.  And each of the boys have the guns I taught them to shoot with.  I even got a Stevens Favorite which will go to the first grandchild ready to learn.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

  Right on 30/06 man..

This is about the only site that gets my pics, and for the same reason ! I can post directly on this site from my 'puter.

I have some pics for other sites, but they are languishing in one of those photo share sites..

Although this little Rossi 62A (Winchester replica) isn't the most valuable of my .22 rifles, it is the one that has seen the most action, given me the most enjoyment.   I've used it, abused it, and just plain had fun with it.   Most memorable was when my dog was attacked by a pair of coyotes.

Yeah; for what it is.   It has upset me during critical moments.        I wouldn't put it up against my CZ 452 by any means.

Hey 30.06man  I hope the trap works.    That sitting up nights and waiting is the pits.

Here is my rim fire battery-top to bottom: Ruger MK 3 22/45, Henry H-001T, Marlin 101 single shot and Springfield Stevens 83 single shot. I am quite fond of them all but my favorite is the Henry. I added a Williams Foolproof receiver sight and a .50" fire-sight front sight. The rear sight was replaced with a folding rear leaf from a Ruger 10/22. It is very accurate at fifty yards and I didn't have to ruin the lines of my lever gun by mounting a scope. The Marlin was a bargain at twenty bucks although it looked like it had the crap beat out of it when I bought it. It too is very accurate and nice and light to boot and after a little TLC it don't look half bad either. The Springfield was bought the other day. Shoots good out to twenty five yards, but farther out than that and I am not so great with iron sights. I hope to figure out a way to mount a peep or a scope. The receiver is not grooved for scope mounting.

Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

My favorite 22 is a Model 82 Kimber, bought back in '82, and a Marlin 22 mag, bolt, looking to find another 22
 mag, probably a Remington 597.

Are there any 22 mag pump actions available?

The Browning BPR-22 is by far my favorite pump 22lr rifle. They are not made anymore but are not terribly hard to find

Mine is the first gun that I ever bought....a Marlin Golden 39A Mountie. I regrettably traded that off in another deal years ago but recently bought another in all original 98% + condition. I think my wife is gettin' jealous of all the attention it gets from me. Of course as you know if you're in the market for one, I paid a considerable amount more for this one (kickin' myself over and over). I also have a Winnie win-tuff 9422 that's a sweet little shooter. It'd be hard to part with either one. I'll try and post some pics this weekend

Well seeing as how I only have one it's easy my Marlin - Glenfield model 25.  But it is getting about that time to pass it down to my daughters so maybe after the holidays I'll have to start looking for a new favorite.

I just have to interject a thought here..My Marine Grandson just got back from his second deployment to the Ramadi/Fallijah area of Iraq. He was his unit's designated sniper.
He cut his shooting teeth on a Marlin 25N that I bought for him when he was about 12 years old. Practice on NY State groundhogs gave him good experience for

going after other "varmints".  Although I later gave him my 39D, he does hold a special place in his heart for that 25N. The 39D is an accurate rifle, beautiful to look at, and worth more money...but that 25N was the more precision game getter.

I got my 25 on my 12th birthday, it was my 1st gun so it's gonna be hard to replace as my favorite but my 10yr old daughter keeps asking when it's gonna be her's.
