MK III Hunter & Winchester Dynapoints

I have read a lot of good things about the 40-gr. Winchester Dynapoints and is quite favored among the rimfire sites. But I have two questions. Is this round better left to rifle use as it is not High Velocity round and may not cycle Simi autos pistol as well? Does it lead up the barrel as its copper washed verses copper plated as the Federal 550 is? I have a MK III Hunter and have been using Federal 550 HV bulk but with a 36gr bullet you lose accuracy out past 75yds. The reason I ask is because I have the opportunity to pick up 6 boxes at a good price and wasn’t sure how they would perform in my MK III.

Buy 'em and burn 'em! That's the great thing about .22...I've never gone broke shootin 'em!! :-D
Post a report on how they work for ya...I've been working thru a brick of "blazers" with my mark III...no long range work, but they do the trick at 50 yards!
So far, I haven't found anything it won't eat perfectly, and I haven't noticed any significant difference in leading from one type of copper coating to another.

I have shot quite a few through my Mk III, and they seem to shoot pretty good. Don't have a chrony, but they are squirell killers at 25-30 yards. As with many rimfires, you may have to experiment to see what shoots the absolute best, but hey, it's cheap! And even the "worst" seem to shoot very well.  I think that you will like the MK III, I know that I do.
