For Hunting Use ONLY.....
« Reply #30 on: March 05, 2006, 08:15:40 AM »
even those who use a double action will usualy draw back the hammer and shoot it single action. if there is time. in a hunting situatin there should be.I think the best use for a large double action revolver is more of a defensive action. But we all have our preferences. The large double actions like the 44 red hawlk and dan wesson have there own loads manafactured by garret against bears. For those who must enter bear country with a revolver only.

I have 2 Dan Wesson revolvers 10"44 mag scoped and a 15-2 revolver pack both double action. The 2 cycl. single six is used for small game .22lr or .22mag

I would like shoot single action in the doubles for accuracy.
