A new way to find locations
« on: November 10, 2005, 04:39:37 AM »
Driving home from work at 06:30 I checked out a drainage I haven't set up yet.On the west side of the drainage is a saddle in the ridge. There were 2 coyotes standing in the saddle.I figure if you see them standing in the saddle it ought to be at least a far location. So far this year I've seen more coyotes and fox out during the day then I have since 1980.Must have been a good hatch
I love the smell of coyote gland lure early in the morning. It smells like victory!!

We had a wet late winter and early spring; man the rabbits, rats and mice!  The early reports from the callers are good fur which stands to reason with good feed.  Next year, in these parts, should be a boomer for all predators.
